5 Steps to a Life-Changing Body Transformation Over 70
Ready to feel stronger, slimmer, and more confident than ever? Discover how I achieved a complete body transformation over 70 in my latest video!
I share the exact steps that helped me lose over 20 pounds, go from a size 14 to a size 2, and build muscle and strength in my 60s and 70s. I’ll reveal my proven strategies for sustainable weight loss after 55, boosting energy, and aging beautifully — mind, body, and spirit. If you’re a woman over 55 looking to transform your body, reclaim your health, and feel 10 years younger, you’re in the right place!
At 75, I feel stronger, more energized, and more alive than I ever imagined possible. But getting here didn’t happen overnight. It took a series of small but powerful changes—changes that I truly believe added a decade of vibrant, productive living to my life. If you’re wondering whether a body transformation over 70 is possible, I’m here to tell you: yes, it is. And I’m proof.
Here are the five things that transformed not just my body—but my life.
1. I Let Fear Motivate Me
In my mid-50s, I had just gotten married and moved to a new state. I was also going through menopause. There was a lot of joy, but also a deep sense of feeling lost in my own body. By 60, I was back home but stuck. I had gained 20 pounds, felt exhausted, and told myself, “Maybe this is just how it is in your 60s.” But deep down, I was scared—scared of where my health was headed.
That fear became the spark I needed. It motivated me to take ownership of my health and start fresh..
2. I Committed to a Low-Carb Diet
I’ve always loved bread and sweets, so I needed a plan that made it easy to avoid them. I went all in on the Atkins low-carb plan—not just for a few pounds, but until I lost 15 pounds in six months.
To maintain the weight loss, I created a rhythm: one week off, three weeks on… then two weeks off, two weeks on. That flexible cycle helped me enjoy life while staying in control. If I ever need to get back on track, I return to this approach—it works every time.
I Balanced My Hormones
At 65, bloodwork revealed my estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone levels were very low. I started working with a hormone specialist and began bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) using pellets, which I get three times a year.
Balancing my hormones changed everything—reduced cravings, boosted energy and strength, lifted brain fog, and even improved my skin and hair. BHRT isn’t right for everyone, but for me, it was a key piece of the puzzle.
4. I Started Strength Training
Even after losing the weight, I felt physically weak. I would get winded climbing stairs, and I knew that had to change. I didn’t have time for the gym, so I created a small at-home setup and discovered TRX.
TRX helped me start gently—stretching and supported squats. Over time, I added free weights and kettlebells. I now do squats with and without TRX (sometimes even in heels!) and have full upper and lower body routines. I’ve shared all of these on my channel, and you can find the links at the end of this post.
It’s never too late to build strength. We start losing muscle in our 30s, but with consistency, you can absolutely get it back. This part of my body transformation over 70 was the most physically empowering.
5. I Set Outrageous, Audacious Goals
This one might be my favorite: I stopped telling myself I was too old. I stopped playing small and started dreaming big. I visualized what I wanted to become—and worked toward it with no age limits in sight.
I was inspired by women like Ernestine Shepherd, an 80-year-old bodybuilder who completely shattered my assumptions. That vision helped fuel my progress, day after day.
Because, as Oprah said, “Nothing tastes as good as thin feels.” But I’d add: Nothing feels as good as feeling strong and powerful—inside and out.
My message is simple: your body transformation over 70 doesn’t have to be about perfection—it’s about power, progress, and possibility.

If you’ve ever felt stuck, discouraged, or too old to change—please know, I’ve been there. And I want you to know: if I can do this, so can you. Whether you’re 50, 60, or 75 like me, it’s never too late to start your own transformation.
