The 70’s into my 70’s . . .

In the 1970’s, I was a model, not because I liked it, but because it was a way to pay the bills. Looking back at this collage of photos, the memories are still so vivid and unforgettable, yet I find myself wondering how life might have unfolded under different circumstances. The life we are born into, the paths not taken, the unexplored connections, and the people lost or left behind … it’s hard not to look back and wonder what might have been given different choices. When we are young, we underestimate the importance of the decisions we make and how they affect not just our own lives, but those lives intertwined with ours.

But now in my 70’s, I view life through the lens of perspective, only achievable with the experience and wisdom that comes with age. I now understand that our lives are a continium where each step leads to the next as we react to life’s moments. Looking through photos from the last few years, it is satisfying to see genuine joy on my face, knowing it took a lot of learning and growing towards self-acceptance to arrive here.

As I look to the future, what matters most to me now is helping the people I care about feel the way I do when they reach the age of 75. In the meanwhile, I would like to share with others some of what I have learned about the importance of getting fit and feeling good about yourself, inside and out, into your later years.

If you relate, I invite you to follow me on this new journey where we can SHARE THE BEAUTY!
